Welcome to Crazy Kims

Muskauer Str. 13, 10997 Berlin, Germany

General Info

Crazy Kims sits quietly on Muskauer Str. 13, 10997 Berlin, Germany, yet the moment you step inside, it feels anything but ordinary. This Korean restaurant has a relaxed, trendy vibe that makes it easy to settle in, whether you’re stopping by for lunch or planning a longer meal with friends. The space feels lived-in and welcoming, the kind of place where regulars are greeted with a nod and newcomers instantly feel at ease.

The menu at Crazy Kims is focused, thoughtful, and full of comforting Korean classics. Bibimbap is one of those dishes that keeps drawing people back. Served warm and generously portioned, it brings together rice, vegetables, and rich flavors in a way that feels both hearty and balanced. Right alongside it, the spicy stir fried pork delivers a bold kick without overwhelming the palate, making it a favorite for diners who enjoy deep, savory heat.

Another highlight that shapes the overall experience is the spread of Korean side dishes. These small plates add texture and contrast to every meal, turning a simple order into something more communal and satisfying. Soup and rice options are also an important part of the menu, especially for those craving something soothing and filling. On cooler days, these dishes feel particularly comforting, almost like home-style cooking served straight from the kitchen.

Bulgogi deserves special mention for its tender texture and subtly sweet, savory flavor. It pairs effortlessly with rice and side dishes, creating a well-rounded plate that showcases why this restaurant earns such positive reviews. For guests who prefer plant-based meals, the vegetarian options are handled with care, ensuring no one feels limited when choosing from the menu.

Beyond the food, Crazy Kims offers practical services that make dining easy and enjoyable. The restaurant accepts reservations, which is helpful during busy lunch hours, and there’s a clean toilet available for guests. The overall atmosphere stays casual but polished, striking a balance that works for both quick meals and relaxed gatherings.

Among Korean dining locations in Berlin, Crazy Kims stands out for its consistency and genuine feel. It doesn’t try to impress with gimmicks; instead, it focuses on honest flavors, friendly service, and an experience that feels real from start to finish.

“ Lovely ambience. Food is top notch. Bibimbap was well prepared, and the banchans were delicious. Besides, this place stays open till 11 pm. What not to like about it. ”

- Tesal Sangma -

“ Had a little celebratory dinner here. So delicious! We got a dish of tender, long-cooked short ribs along with a spicy kimchi & tofu soup, both of which came with an exciting assortment of Banchan dishes. Everything was delightful. The tofu tasted especially fresh. Would definitely go back! ”

- Leitha Matz -

“ The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is artsy and soothing, not too crowded. The owner is a super nice Korean lady who takes time to inform you about the menu. The banchan and main dishes look great and are super tasty and authentic. I will come back for sure! ”

- Linh Nguyen -

“ I quite like the spread of banchan-s (side dishes) that they have, even though the portion is quite small, they’re all very flavourful. The main dishes that we got were kimchi jiggae and spicy stir fried pork, both were exceptionally delicious and the portion was adequate too. Overall, food was nice and service was very friendly, may be a tad pricey for some at €30/set menu with soup, sides and main course. ”

- Esther Koon -

“ It might not seem exciting at first glance when you see the menu, but when the dishes arrive, it's like being transported to a whole new world! Everything on their menu is a solid 10/10. They don't miss a single dish! ”

- Agnes Salim -

“ The banchan spread is amazing. You don’t really get this much variety in other places. The food was also very tasty, but mind you there is no cook at the table experience. We did not make a reservation in advance and were able to get a seat but we arrived just when it was opening. ”

- Laura Alexandra -

“ This place still has the real, raw Berlin vibe to it. I was so surprised I didn’t know it because we are often in this street to eat. The owner is this super sweet Korean lady who is very friendly. She doesn’t advertise the place she wants people to find out through recommendation. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. I have had a wonderful evening there. What I loved was not just the food but the hospitality, the music selection and the characters that walked in throughout the evening. It has this artsy, genuine, humble vibe to it that 15 years ago made me move to Berlin and I think restaurants like this are rare. The Korean food was authentic and great, the ribs were super tender and delicious. The wine was very good. The price is fair and you can pay by EC card. We will definitely come back. ”
